Privacy notice
This notice explains how AureX Creators, a trading name of Sales Ninja Global (Pty) Ltd (“AureX”, “we”, “us”), operating at aurexcreators.com, handles personal information. It covers three groups of people: customers (agencies and their team members who use AureX), website visitors, and creators whose public profiles appear in AureX. We are the responsible party under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the controller under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Creators
What we collect
Only information that a creator has made publicly available, such as:
- Public profile names, usernames and profile links on social, video and subscription platforms
- Public profile details: bio, profile picture link, follower and subscriber counts, public engagement figures and posting activity
- Location, age or gender only where the creator has publicly stated it
- Business contact details the creator has published as a way to contact them (for example an email address, WhatsApp number or Telegram link on a link page or website)
- Publicly stated management or agency relationships
- For every item: the source, the source link, and the dates it was collected and last checked
We do not log in to platforms, access private profiles or messages, bypass technical restrictions, buy leaked data, or infer private contact details. We do not estimate age from photos. We exclude anyone whose public information suggests they may be under 18.
Where it comes from
Public search engines, public link pages and personal websites, and official platform APIs (for example the YouTube Data API, Twitch API, X API and Instagram Graph API), used within their terms and rate limits.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We make this information available to talent-management agencies so they can identify creators who may be interested in professional representation, and contact them with business offers. We rely on legitimate interests (POPIA section 11(1)(f); GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): the agencies’ interest in finding business partners and creators’ interest in hearing about professional opportunities, balanced against creators’ privacy. To protect that balance we limit collection to public, professionally relevant information, show the source of every item, and honour objections for every customer.
Your choices
You can object at any time. Use the Remove my data form or email privacy@aurexcreators.com. We add the profiles you name to a global suppression list straight away, so AureX will not find or show them again, and we delete matching records from every customer workspace.
2. Customers and website visitors
- Account details: name, work email, company, role and login information.
- Billing details: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we don’t store full card numbers.
- Enquiries: what you send through our demo, contact and removal forms.
- Usage and security data: actions in your workspace (kept in an audit log), and technical data such as IP address and browser type used to secure the service and prevent abuse.
We use this to provide and bill for the service, answer enquiries, secure our systems and meet legal obligations. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests and legal obligation. We don’t sell personal information and we don’t use advertising cookies.
3. Who we share it with
Creator information is shown to AureX customers in their private workspaces. We also use service providers who process data for us under contract, including hosting and database providers, background-job infrastructure, search and platform API providers, email delivery and our payment provider. Some are located outside South Africa, the UK or the EU; where information is transferred internationally we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards required by POPIA and the GDPR.
4. How long we keep it
Creator records are kept while they are in use by a customer. Customers can set a retention period in their workspace, delete records at any time, and must delete records when asked to. Suppression entries are kept so that an opt-out keeps working. Customer account and billing records are kept for the life of the account and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict its use, and receive a copy in a portable format. Send requests to privacy@aurexcreators.com or use the request form. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm you own the profiles concerned before sending you a copy of data.
You can also complain to a regulator: the Information Regulator (South Africa), the Information Commissioner’s Office (UK), or your local data protection authority in the EU. We’d appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role, secrets are kept on our servers, and changes in customer workspaces are recorded in an audit log.
7. Changes and contact
We’ll update this notice when our practices change and show the date at the top. Questions: privacy@aurexcreators.com, Sales Ninja Global (Pty) Ltd, South Africa.
